Cab Cleaning Kit

Tried and tested and as used in my new tutorial’ A Practical Guide to Cabs and Poppers’ this kit consists of a packet of silicone carbide grit and a small piece of glass.

It is extremely effective for cab preparation and our chosen method ( even though we have a flat lap ! )

Simply mix grit with a drop of washing up liquid and water to use.

The grit is also wonderful for cleaning bead release from bead holes by simply dipping a wet mandrel into it and using on a wet bead.

200 grms 180 Silicone Carbide Grit.
200mm x 96mm piece of 3mm glass with finished edges.

As with all projects involving grit we recommend you use in a separate area and give special attention to cloths and surfaces as it is highly abbrasive.

The picture illustrates the finished results and these results are achieved very quickly, enabling you to finish all your cabs effectively leaving you more time to make more !!!
