The liner is a three stage system incorporating a flaring press and a finishing press.

Our unique Finishing Dies gently flatten and then turn the edge of the silver on the surface of the hole. They are extremely effective when used correctly.

These dies are designed to prevent chipping and cracking.

Their unique shape ensures that pressure during this second stage is not applied to the contours of the bead hole which is what causes cracking and chipping.

Instead one die flattens the flared silver to the bead whilst at the same time supporting the inside of the tube preventing ‘crinkling’.

The Finishing Die 'secures' the silver tube by  gently turning  the edge of the tube down on the surface of your bead ensuring no pressure is applied in the wrong place.

The dies at the moment are available in 5mm only, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm we will have completed we hope by the new year or soon after.

We recommend one set of finishing dies per diameter of tubing as the Delrin used to manufacture them will mould to the size of the silver.

The Delrin Dies will wear down over a period of time and we do offer a re trimming service for them

Silver Coring Service

After considerable thought and having been approached from both within the UK and Europe by suppliers and individuals our coring services and system seem to be in demand. ☺

We realize that silver coring is not for everyone (some folk just want to make beads ☺) and as a result of this we have decided to offer a coring service for charm beads for those who perhaps do not have the time or the resources to invest in the equipment to do it themselves.

At present this service is only available for beads made on both 4mm and 5mm mandrels.

Our preferred tubing comes from Rio Grande in the USA it is a seamless thicker walled tubing that in our opinion gives superb results.
The finished hole size of the beads will make them compatible only with the smaller European Bracelet Systems.

We would of course use our own bead lining system to line the beads.  Our unique finishing dies ensure that the silver is beautifully turned at the edges and that it fits the contours of the bead hole without compromise to give a very professional finish

The beads are then polished to an exceptionally high standard and returned to you for either your own enjoyment or ready for sale.

At this moment we can only offer this service for 40 beads or more at any one time.
