After learning and training Anita opened with her husband Elias their studio in Woschhuus, Switzerland/Unikal Bead Design. More examples of her work can be found here.

Previous experience of lampwork is essential and required in order to attend this workshop.

Class description

On this two day course students will learn the basics of Oriental Bead Manufacture. From the simple to the complex bead, round,oval,compressed and freely formed shapes.

• Oriental Big Wheel Beads
• Oriental Lens Beads
• Oriental Bead Earrings
• Oriental Bead and Disc Pendant
• Students will line a big wheel bead with sterling silver.

Towards the end of the second day David will give a short presentation on Silver Coring. This will be followed by each student lining their chosen 9mm bead with Silver.

Due to time restraints David will prepare your beads for lining. You will each use our press to line your big wheels after the presentation which will include preparation of beads and silver for the process.

Please Note :

Some experience with 9mm mandrels before you attend the class will benefit you and is essential.

£50 is a non refundable administration charge.

Cancellation less than 7 days before course commences will incur 50% of the course fee. No refund for failure to attend on the day.
